Winter Morning

"Winter Morning" is an oil painting that belongs to my series dedicated to the Wendover Canal. This particular painting was inspired by a beautiful morning walk along the canal where the bright, cold sky created a stunning backdrop for the serene waterway. I used a modulation of light to capture the gentle winter light that reflected off the canal's surface and created a tonalist effect that conveyed the peacefulness of the scene.
