Dante's verses stirred something deep within me as I walked along the path, surrounded by the trees of late autumn. The sun shone brightly, yet I felt a heavy weight of restlessness and worry pressing down on me. I felt almost suffocated by the beauty of my surroundings, and it inspired me to create this little painting.
