Oil on masonite board (Ampersand™ Gessobord™)
12 × 12 inches (30.48 × 30.48 cm)
Last summer I’ve visited Hughenden Manor near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. A Victorian mansion that served as the country house of Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli the 1st Earl of Beaconsfield. He was one of Queen Victoria’s favourite Prime Ministers. This is a view from inside the Manor looking towards the gardens. I loved the variety of trees and the symmetry of the central space. I especially enjoyed the time there in the company of my family and my mum who came to stay with us in the UK for a few months. Hughenden Manor is now owned by the National Trust and is regularly open to the public.
If interested I work on commission and can produce oil on panels with similar subjects.
