In my latest painting of the Weston Turville Reservoir, I experimented with a freer style, using bright, bold colours and confident brush strokes to capture the essence of this stunning landscape. Instead of painstakingly replicating every detail, I allowed myself to be guided by the natural flow and rhythm of the scene, letting the colours and shapes emerge intuitively. This approach allowed me to capture the vibrancy and energy of the landscape, with bursts of colour and bold strokes giving the painting a sense of movement and life. While this style was a departure from my usual approach, I found it to be a liberating and exciting way to capture the beauty of the Weston Turville Reservoir. Through this experimentation, I discovered new ways to express my artistic vision, deepening my appreciation for the power of art to capture the beauty of the natural world.
