Wendover Canal II

I recently completed a painting titled "Wendover Canal II", inspired by my regular walks along this picturesque path. As I make my way along the tranquil waters of the canal, I am struck by the serenity of the surrounding landscape. The trees and foliage that line the canal create a natural canopy overhead, filtering the light and casting a gentle shade on the water below. Through my painting, I aimed to capture the sublime beauty of this peaceful scene, using a palette of soft greens, blues, and earth tones to convey the sense of calm and tranquillity that pervades the area. The repetition of this subject matter has allowed me to deepen my connection with this natural wonder, and I hope that my painting captures some of the magic and peacefulness that I experience during my walks along the Wendover Canal.
