The sun shone brightly as I stepped into the grandeur of Hughenden Manor near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire.
This Victorian mansion was once the country house of Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, the 1st Earl of Beaconsfield, who was one of Queen Victoria’s most beloved Prime Ministers.
As I looked out from the Manor, I was captivated by the lush gardens and the symmetrical beauty of the central space. The variety of trees and plants were a sight to behold, and I was filled with joy as I spent time there with my family, especially my mum who had come to stay with us in the UK for a few months.
Now owned by the National Trust, Hughenden Manor is open to the public and I highly recommend a visit to experience its grandeur and beauty.
I have recently become a member of Bucks Art Weeks, the largest visual arts event in Buckinghamshire and one of the biggest in the UK. I will be opening my studio between the 11th and the 26th of June, please come and visit!
More details coming soon.
